Local Premiere of Autism Film at Berwick Theater - April 14, 2019
Geisinger’s Autism & Developmental Medicine Institute is pleased to host a very special event. Photographer Rick Guidotti, founder and director of Positive Exposure, will premiere his film about the diversity of autism, featuring children and their families from our local area. This film is a part of the Faces Redefining the Art of Medical Education (FRAME) series, a web-based resource that aims to change how medical information is presented to heath care professionals in training, clinicians, families, and communities. At this event, families will have the opportunity to join SPARK, the largest autism study in the United States. To participate in SPARK, both parents complete an online registration and then all family members provide saliva samples for research. For participating, families can receive an Amazon gift card up to $50. Date: Sunday, April 14th Cost: This event is FREE to the public, but an RSVP is required.
